In joining the IFA you are associating with not only a national federation but a world wide professional body dedicated to the advancement of Aromatherapy. The IFA represents the professional interests of Practitioners of Aromatherapy and students striving to achieve professional status. The IFA prides itself on offering the highest level in training and professionalism and the ongoing campaign to improve the status of Aromatherapy. The IFA represents its members in dealings with other health care providers and associations both nationally and internationally. A majority of IFA members have joined the Federation for recognition by their peers and the public of their qualifications and professional standing. The IFA offers opportunities for members to network amongst its membership through its national quarterly journal "Simply Essential", regular regional and annual meetings and ongoing education through its publications. Active participation by IFA members is essential to the associations function and growth. Individual participation is essential for the Federation to progress and become relevant to its members requirements and those of the public at large. The council positions and the general operation of the federation is conducted by full members of the IFA on a voluntary basis. All full members are encouraged to vote and participate in all aspects of running the IFA. Make your association with the IFA a fulfilling and beneficial one. Together we will ensure the long term viability and success of the IFA and light the aromatherapy path for others to follow. For further information on membership contact the IFA Membership Officer.
